Customer Return Representative - FT
Avis Budget Group is hiring for an outdoor customer service role at our airport locations in Fletcher, North Carolina.
About the Role
You’ll be a key part of the return process—helping customers move smoothly through their drop-off while ensuring vehicles are accurately checked in and ready for the next rental. This role involves assisting customers as they return their rental vehicles, including greeting customers, securing keys, recording mileage, fuel levels, and vehicle condition, and checking cars into our computer system.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist with vehicle returns
- Secure keys and record mileage, fuel levels, and vehicle condition
- Check vehicles into the computer system accurately and efficiently
- Deliver professional, friendly customer service
- Work outdoors to process vehicles and ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Basic computer skills (typing, data entry)
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Enjoyment of working with customers and providing great service
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Flexibility to work all shifts
- Ability to stand, walk, or move throughout the rental lot for prolonged periods
- Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently and drive a variety of vehicles
- Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
- This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
6 months of retail or customer service experience is a bonus.
