Overview

NSI is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Operations Specialist to support day-to-day customer order management and operational coordination.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer orders (manual + EDI) from PO receipt through delivery
- Confirm order details and communicate ETAs to customers and distribution centers
- Cook internally with Sales, Operations, and Accounting
- Resolve order discrepancies and support invoice accuracy
- Aid with transportation coordination and 3PL claims
- Maintain accurate reporting in ERP (SAP Business One preferred)
- Utilize customer portals and support compliance documentation
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Experience working with retail customers or supermarket chains (a plus)
- ERP experience (SAP Business One a strong plus)
- Familiarity with EDI systems
- Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Workspace
- Proficiency in MacOS
- A high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Education And Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
- 2–3 years of experience in customer operations, sales support, or order management (CPG/food industry preferred)
