About the Role
As a key member of our operations team, you’ll be the go-to partner for customer order management—receiving, confirming, and coordinating orders across Sales, Supply Chain, and 3PL providers. You’ll resolve customer and broker issues, escalate when needed, and ensure a smooth experience from order entry to delivery. This role involves cross-functional collaboration to troubleshoot challenges, support onboarding, and drive continuous process improvements that fuel Kinder’s growth. You’ll also provide backup support to internal teams and mentor newer team members.
Responsibilities
- Arrange shipments with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery of products.
- Review product availability upon order receipt and coordinate with procurement and production teams to maintain sufficient stock levels.
- Process incoming orders from customers and internal departments promptly and accurately, verifying details with the sales team and addressing discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to prioritize and schedule shipments based on order urgency.
- Identify opportunities for supply chain process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Track “late/delayed” shipments daily to ensure timeliness goals are met and escalate issues as needed.
- Develop strong partnerships with Retail Sales partners, buyers, and carrier partners to drive inventory efficiencies and logistics improvements.
- Support cost savings initiatives related to freight, warehousing, and fines/fees.
- Provide backup support to the Costco Operations Account Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in consumer-packaged goods supply chain or operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to seeing tasks through to completion.
- Ability to set and achieve goals, engage in creative problem-solving, and manage multiple priorities with minimal direction.
- Team player who collaborates well across multiple functional areas.
- Flexible, efficient, and motivated self-starter with a passion for active participation in a fast-paced, high-growth company.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Pay
The expected starting salary range for this role is $100,000–$115,000 per year. Actual compensation may vary based on location, qualifications, performance, and business needs.
Schedule
Most work happens in the office to foster creativity and community, but flexibility is offered to support work-life balance and personal commitments.
Location: Walnut Creek, California office.
