Customer Onboarding Specialist

About the role

This entry-level position helps new customers get started successfully through guided introductions, setup support, and relationship building. This is active, relationship-oriented work. This is an on-site position with regular face-to-face interaction. The role is designed for someone comfortable working directly with customers, clients, members, community participants, partners, or onsite coworkers rather than working exclusively behind the scenes.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new customers and explain the onboarding process
• Guide customers through initial steps or services
• Answer questions and coordinate internal support
• Follow up to ensure a smooth transition

Qualifications

• Personable, dependable, and comfortable starting conversations
• Organized and coachable
• Able to communicate professionally in a fast-moving environment
• Related experience can be helpful, but transferable experience from retail, hospitality, customer service, campus activities, athletics, or other people-facing work may also be relevant
