Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations
  • Plan and review logistics processes, ensuring they meet company standards and customer service specifications
  • Establish work schedules and procedures, coordinate activities of workers to ensure optimal shift/team logistics
  • Accountable for site Key Performance Indications (KPI)
  • Meet regularly with team members to monitor progress, track performance, coach, counsel, and recognize successes
  • Cultivate team spirit with a Diversity and Inclusion initiative and promote cooperation by improving internal processes
  • Carry out performance evaluations of the team members and recommend performance awards and/or merit increases when appropriate
  • Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary process
  • Understand labor agreement and maintain positive labor relations with all employees
  • Implement health & safety and security initiatives, practices, and behaviors and adhere to company rules and policies
  • Provide appropriate orientation for employees and lead hands

Requirements

  • H.S. diploma/GED required
  • One (1) year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred
  • One (1) year direct supervisory/leadership experience required

Pay

Annual Salary Pay: $60,000.00 per year based on experience

Schedule

Tuesday - Saturday 2:00 pm – 11:00 pm
