Customer Logistics Manager
About the role
The Customer Logistics Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations within an assigned function and is responsible for all aspects of Operations and Account Management in our Dedicated Transportation Solutions business vertical. This role focuses on leadership of direct reports and the attainment of daily operational goals. You will be the management and professional representative of the Ryder organization, aligning with core values: Trust, Innovation, Expertise, Collaboration, and Safety. Embracing and utilizing technology as part of your daily routine is crucial.
Responsibilities
- Customer service satisfaction and expectation management
- Staffing performance management and development of exempt and non-exempt employees
- Manage day-to-day planning and scheduling
- Health and Safety Management
- State/Local/Federal regulations compliance
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Off-shift support in the event of critical customer network disruption or crisis
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred
- Two (2) or more years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related industry
- One (1) or more years of direct supervisory/leadership experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) is required
- Advanced logistics industry knowledge
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations
- Intermediate knowledge of Supply Chain Management components
- Advanced knowledge of Manufacturing and Production

Pay
Salaried position with a pay range between $65,000 and $75,000. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on level and/or type.
