Compensation begins at $18/hr, after 6 months there is a $1 increase to $19/hr, then every 6 month a $.50 increase until reaching $22/hr – increases all performance based. The training period is in office full time (60 days). After this period, this is a hybrid role which consists of working remotely (3 days) and in our office (2 days) each week - this is subject to business needs. Overview The Customer Care Accounts Receivable Representative assists customers in response to inquiries about products and services. Assists customer with placing product orders. Primary Responsibilities Assist specific customers in the division with key back-office processes (e.g., accounts receivable, order processing, customer service, etc.); work in conjunction with Customer Account Services (CAS) back-office resources who will be performing similar functionsResolve internal and external customer issues by returning/acknowledging phone calls and emails in a timely manner and providing responses and resolution in a reasonable amount of timeAnswer questions for accounts involved in the accounts receivable processResearch accounts and communicate to customers the reason for open invoices, short pays, and open credits and document accounts accordinglyFollow up on general customer collections as requested by Customer Account Services Accounts Receivable (A/R), utilizing the established delinquency, aging and collection letter and follow up guidelinesWork with customers, Salesforce, and Customer Account Services (CAS) Accounts Receivable to complete necessary paperwork and forward to the A/R SupervisorAssist with research of any missing invoicesMaintain effective and consistent communication with Sales Teams and employees at CASAnswer general Sales Team questions and resolve issues related to A/RProvide invoice copies and other document or information requestsProcess incoming orders from customersAnswer general order inquiries, providing first level support, and minimizing call transfersStay abreast of state-specific alcoholic beverage laws and state listings lawsResponsible for Accounts Receivable functions on all accounts as well as answering inbound phone calls and processing inbound casesPerform other job-related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency plus 1 year of experienceKnowledge with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), federal regulatory guidelines, and organizational objectivesProficiency using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets in creating pivot tables, develop charts, and complex formulas Physical Demands Physical demands with activity or condition existing a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (i.e., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or calculatorPhysical demands with activity or condition existing an occasional to the rare amount of time include walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stoopingMay require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs EEO Statement Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits, an Affirmative Action/EEO employer, prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type and provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
