Custom Quotes Specialist

About the role

This position is responsible for creating custom product quotes with CAD drawings to support sales opportunities. Responsibilities also include assisting cabinet dealers, sales associates, and Cabinetworks Group sales representatives with the custom quote process.

Responsibilities

• Researches the feasibility of producing unique custom items to meet customer needs
• Reviews and audits customer drawings for product selection, modifications, and detail notes
• Prepares custom quote drawings with pricing and CAD drawings for customer specified cabinets or accessories
• Ensures quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all drawings and pricing before sending to the dealer/customer for approval
• Researches appliance panel specifications and prepares custom quote based on product line and customer's application
• Creates and maintains standard CAD drawing templates for consistency and efficiency
• Provides ongoing phone support and training for customers, sales representatives, and customer care representatives on custom quote abilities and construction-related product inquiries
• Collaborates with team members to create and document custom quote reference materials

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (G.E.D.)
• Two years of MS Office software experience with strong Excel skills
• Cabinetry or related industry experience
• Must be a self-sufficient, "on the fly" decision maker
• Expert level cabinet construction knowledge
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strong customer relationship skills, conflict resolution skills, and ability to work in a team environment with cross-functional departments

Preferred Skills

• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and CAD systems
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD
• Must be a self-sufficient, "on the fly" decision maker
• Must be able to manage a fast-paced, ever-changing set of challenges on a daily basis

Pay

The range for this position is $27.00 to $32.00 per hour
