Responsibilities
- Travels to properties to conduct routine compliance reviews to identify irregularities and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory agency rules and regulations.
- Assists in alerting management to current regulatory issues; consistently works with all levels of management, providing important information, reports, and insight.
- Participates in addressing sensitive compliance issues with management in assigned functional area.
- Participates in corporate policy discussions related to compliance.
- Assists with the timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as may be required by related entities or partnerships.
- Assists with timely responses to Agency reviews as required.
- Assists residents with understanding lease requirements, community policies, procedures, and available services.
- Reviews complex property files and enters data into compliance databases; maintains accurate and complete data in databases.
- Assures all properties are abiding by company policy regarding fair housing.
- Assists with development and modification of company forms and contracts used in company operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
- 5 years or more experience in Property Management.
- Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, which provides the required knowledge and abilities, may be considered sufficient.
