Major Activities
- Lead and coach a team of framers focusing on building customer relationships and creating custom framing solutions.
- Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions for their art.
- Develop and coach the team on selling behaviors.
- Plan workload in partnership with the Store Manager to deliver high-quality custom framing solutions on time.
- Achieve and manage team KPIs, including sales and production workload planning and sales floor time for networking.
- Manage and execute inventory management processes as assigned.
- Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
- Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
- Support with interviewing, on-boarding, coaching, observing, and training of new Team members; participate in Talent Development and Performance Management activities.
- Collaborate with MODs daily on framing and other tasks.
- Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, promoting the organization's vision and values.
- Participate in truck un-loading and stocking processes to ensure compliance with standards and budget.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to maintain a safe environment.
- Assist customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
- Assist with Omni-channel processes.
Physical Requirements
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
- Ability to move throughout the store and stand for long periods.
- Lifting heavy boxes and frames and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Work Environment
- Public retail store setting.
- All public areas are climate controlled.
- Some stock rooms may not be climate controlled.
- Some outdoor work if assigned to retrieve shopping carts or while unloading trucks.
- Frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press.
- Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
