Custom Closet - Sales & Design Consultant

About the role

Closet Factory of New Jersey is seeking enthusiastic, creative, and detail-oriented sales professionals to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of sales or design experience, particularly in home improvement related fields. Successful candidates will enjoy working with people, have strong selling and negotiation skills, and possess an interest in interior design and home organization.

Responsibilities

• Take company-provided qualified leads and prospect new business in Mercer, Middlesex, Union, Somerset, Morris, and Monmouth Counties.
• Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients.
• Gain referrals and repeat business from existing client base.
• Effectively network with associations and other groups.
• Work independently and in teams to space plan, visualize, and measure spaces.
• Work flexible hours to fit most lifestyles.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Sales or Design Experience
• Home Improvement Related Sales Experience (A+ Certification Not Required)
• You Must Be Trainable/Coachable
• Basic Computer Skills
