Custodian Supervisor II

Job Description and Duties

The Custodian Supervisor II (CS II) is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the cleaning and janitorial work at the California State Lottery Headquarters Complex, District Offices, Regional Warehouses, and other sites as designated by the Supervisor I.

Working Conditions

• Schedule: Typical work times are Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with some flexibility depending on operations. May need to work outside of typical work times as job conditions require. This position may be required to carry a Lottery issued cell phone and be reachable outside of normal business hours.
• Travel: Up to 5% may be required

Special Requirements

• The California State Lottery Act provides that no person may be hired as an employee of the Commission if that person has been convicted of a felony or any gambling related offense.
• The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.
• This/These position(s) require(s) Medical Clearance prior to being hired.

Desirable Qualifications

• General knowledge of custodial cleaning methods.
• General knowledge of commercial cleaning, standards and regulations.
• Experience with customer service in a technical application.
• Experience with operation and use of common custodial equipment: extractors, buffers, restroom cleaning machines, etc.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.
• Computer Skills.
• Administrative Skills.
• Procurement experience.
