Custodian Supervisor
About the role
The Town of Marana is seeking a Custodian Supervisor to join the Public Works Department. This is a full-time position offering opportunities for leadership and supervision.
Responsibilities
- Provides leadership and development to assigned staff; establishes goals and objectives; participates in the recruitment process, evaluates work performance, ensures policy and procedure compliance, and monitors employee relations matters.
- Manages day-to-day operations and maintenance; coordinates staff schedules and projects; manages labor, inventory and verifies the effective use of resources and quality work; manages customer service inquiries, complaints and public outreach.
- Performs weekly site inspections for quality of work performed and safety standards, identifies areas in need of maintenance.
- Assists with preparation of budget, contracts, and monitors spending.
- Assist with scheduling contractors and vendors, project management and equipment repair.
- Cleans and disinfects Town facilities (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, wiping/washing surfaces, equipment, fixtures).
Requirements
- Specific vocational, administrative, or technical nature acquired through six months of training past the high school equivalency, community college, vocational, or technical schools are likely sources.
- Three or more years of experience in a related field.
- Must complete both the Town of Marana background check and a motor vehicle records check.
- Valid Arizona Driver License.
- One year of supervisory experience or must complete the Town of Marana’s supervisor academy within one year of hire date.

Pay
Salary Range: $25.52 - $37.01 per hour
Schedule
Hours of Operation: 7:00 – 4:00 pm
