About the role
Ivy Tech Henry County seeks a part-time custodian for light maintenance work, cleaning and upkeep of facilities.
Responsibilities
- Cleans and maintains all cigarette butt urns on College property (outside duty)
- Stocks all paper and hand cleaning products in restroom dispensers
- Cleans and sanitizes all fixtures, partitions and wall areas; sweeps and mops restrooms daily
- Sweeps and maintains entryways and outdoor lounge areas
- Maintains all internal and external trash receptacles outside classrooms
- Maintains the student commons free of all trash and spills; cleans tabletops, chairs and booths
- Cleans door window glass and frequently touched vertical surfaces daily
- Maintains community rooms and/or meeting setup
- Light maintenance as needed, based on skill set
- All other duties as assigned
Pay
Starting at $17.00/hour
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Applicant must be punctual, dependable and trustworthy
