Custodian I - Day Shift
Overview
Global Connections to Employment (GCE) is a nationwide team providing jobs for people with significant disabilities, including war-wounded veterans. Role Requirements
- Must understand oral and/or written instructions.
- Must interact appropriately with customers, government personnel, and staff members.
- Meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on the specified contract(s).
- Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings, as appropriate.
Physical Requirements
- May travel to and from various locations and buildings throughout the year and in various weather conditions.
- Most work will take place indoors.
- Will work with cleaning chemicals.
- Will be required to follow the Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements.
Schedules
Schedules are subject to change.
Essential Functions
- Regularly bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to assist in lifting equipment and moving furniture when necessary.
