Job Summary

Under general supervision, keeps an assigned food service area clean, sanitary, safe, and orderly; secures rooms and buildings; and performs related work as required. Positions in this class are under the supervision of the Maintenance, Operations, and Transportation Supervisor, and/or Principal through delegation of the Food Service Director, may be assigned to the afternoon or evening shift. Incumbents are responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of areas assigned. The duties listed below are typical for positions in this class collectively but no one position will necessarily include all these duties.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Proof of HS Graduation (HS Diploma, HS Transcripts, GED, or higher education degree) must be attached to your application.
• Minimum work experience: one (1) year of experience in cleaning and maintaining building areas.

Pay

Pay Range: $21.63 - $29.60** per hour. A maximum of three (3) years may be granted for experience outside of Beaumont USD. Therefore, the maximum starting hourly rate for an external hire is $24.33 per hour.

Schedule

Length of Work Year: 12 months / Monday - Friday / 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm; includes a 30-minute lunch break. A 5% night differential applies.
