Custodian (DOH/LLCP #40969)

About the role

This position is responsible for routine and heavy cleaning duties at all buildings on the LLCP campus, including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, trash removal, cleaning and restocking bathroom supplies. Work is performed in an indoor setting and may involve exposure to fumes, airborne particles or caustic chemicals, and requires lifting, pushing, pulling, transferring, and/or carrying up to fifty (50) pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping of all facilities on the LLCP campus.
• Stocking bathroom and cleaning supplies; ensure that all bathrooms are stocked with supplies and that cleaning supplies are stocked and available in each building.
• Maintaining cleanliness in residential homes leased by the Program.

Requirements

• Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License.
• Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico, or must pass and receive such certification as a condition of continued employment.
• Employment is conditional pending results of a criminal background check.

Qualifications

No prior experience or training required.

Skills

• Experience with janitorial services.
• Experience with general cleaning and grounds keeping/landscaping equipment.

Pay

Salary $15.45 - $23.18 hourly ($32,136 - $48,204 annually).

Schedule

Work may require rotating shifts, weekends, overtime, and holidays.
