Custodian - 8 hrs/day

CUSTODIAN - 8 hrs/day NORTH HIGH 3:15 PM - 11:45 PM (must work day shift during Winter, Spring and Summer Breaks) INTERNAL BIDS THRU 9/2/26 @ 4:00 PM. EXTERNAL APPLICANTS (WE WILL HIRE EXTERNALLY IF NO SUCCESSFUL INTERNAL BIDDER): Open until filled. New Hire: Entry Level Rate $18.17/hr. Current employees with seniority in the bargaining unit, please refer to the Salary Schedule established by the bargaining unit. Duties & Responsibilities: (Essential Functions of Position, Major Responsibilities, Summary of Key Duties, Special Assignments, Relationships) UtilityClean/sanitize desk/table tops, door handles, restroom fixturesCleans glassDusts horizontal surfaces, clocks, overhead screens, and blindsWet mopping of floors, spot cleaning of carpets and hard flooringAssists with deep cleaning during break periods—stripping, scrub & recoat, carpet extraction, cleaning restrooms, glass, and furnitureTrash removalRemoves snowMinor grounds keepingLawn mowingAssists with delivery of suppliesProperly maintains equipmentReports maintenance issues to Head and Lead custodiansPerforms other duties as assignedCleans RestroomsMust work days during summer Physical Requirements of Position: (HBV X Yes No) Ability to lift & carry up to 56 lb. Ability to climb up to an 8-ft ladder and perform custodial task ie; cleaning light fixture.
