Custodian - 8 hrs/day

Duties & Responsibilities

• Restroom Duties Which Include But Not Limited To:
  • Picking up large items off floor
  • Replenish supplies
  • Clean restrooms with Kai-Vac according to district guidelines
  • Clean mirrors
  • Clean/sanitize door handles/push plates, partitions, doors and hardware
  • Dust mop and auto scrub halls; wet mop under benches, etc, in halls
  • Wet mop areas as assigned
  • Assist with deep cleaning during break periods- stripping, scrub & recoat, cleaning restrooms, glass, and furniture
  • Snow removal
  • Minor grounds keeping
  • Lawn mowing
• Assist with delivery of supplies
• Properly maintains equipment
• Report maintenance issues to Head & Lead Custodian
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements of Position

• Ability to lift & carry up to 56 lb.
• Ability to climb up to an 8-ft ladder and perform custodial tasks
• Ability to climb steps and work on uneven ground
• Ability to understand and follow oral instructions

Special Qualification Desired

• Must have high school degree or GED

Benefits

New Hire: Entry Level Rate $18.17/hr

Current employees with seniority in the bargaining unit, please refer to the Salary Schedule established by the bargaining unit
