Custodian - 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean environment
• Anticipate problems such as unavoidable delays in material shortages and inform area supervisor or other involved personnel; solve problems as required
• Lift and transport waste and cardboard as necessary
• Clean restrooms, break rooms, office areas, and conference rooms
• Perform additional miscellaneous duties as directed by immediate supervisor within the scope of the job
• Support functions, including assisting in the training and qualification of other associates
• Assist in the development of more efficient ways of maintaining the plant
• Operate hand lift truck or other material handling devices as required

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to drive a fork truck
• Physical capability to handle medium and heavy weights, not to exceed 40 pounds
