Custodial Worker (PT- 32 hours Biweekly- Evenings) - TJUH

About the Role

Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas.

Responsibilities

• Creates an aesthetically pleasing environment for our customers.
• Performs cleaning procedures in accordance with Infection Control and Hospital policies.
• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 3 years’ experience required.
• Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Ability to problem solve, understand, and explain job expectations and duties.
• Exhibits a kind, friendly manner in communication with others.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of housekeeping/customer service experience in healthcare or the hospitality industry preferred but not required.
