Custodial Worker

AdministrativeFull-time
We need to produce HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The posting includes Summary, Duties, Requirements, Qualifications, Additional information (salary, probation, etc.), Benefits (mention of benefits). We must not repeat job title. Use

for section headings. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. Remove boilerplate. We need to preserve all substantive information. We need to decide which sections to include: About the role (maybe from Summary). Responsibilities (Duties). Requirements (Conditions of employment). Qualifications (Knowledge and skill...). Benefits (mention of benefits). Pay (salary dependent on experience). Schedule (workdays, weekends, holidays, rotating shifts). We must only include sections if posting has real specific content. The posting includes salary: "Salary is dependent on experience and/or education follows OPM Operating Manual - FWS, S-8". That's specific enough? It says dependent on experience/education, not a number. The instruction says: never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g., "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. The phrase "Salary is dependent on experience and/or education follows OPM Operating Manual - FWS, S-8" is not a specific number but it's stating that salary depends on experience/education and references a pay scale. Is that considered filler? It's not "commensurate with experience" exactly but similar. The instruction says avoid filler like "commensurate with experience". This is similar. Might be considered filler. Safer to omit Pay section if not explicit numeric or range. Similarly Schedule: posting says "may involve work on workdays and may involve weekends, and holidays, as well as rotating shifts." That's specific enough? It states schedule details: workdays, possibly weekends, holidays, rotating shifts. That's substantive. So we can include Schedule. Benefits: posting says "A career with the U.S. government provides employees with a comprehensive benefits package... Eligibility for benefits depends on the type of position you hold..." That's generic but still mentions benefits. It's not placeholder like "varies". It's stating there is a benefits package. Might be okay to include Benefits section. We need to avoid boilerplate like EEO, legal, etc. Remove duplicated lines. We need to preserve all substantive info: duties list, requirements list, qualifications list, additional info (probation, direct deposit, E-Verify, travel card, drug-free workplace, commitment statements). Some of that may be considered boilerplate? The drug-free workplace statement might be considered boilerplate but it's specific to the agency. The instruction says remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The drug-free workplace statement might be considered legal boilerplate? It's about Executive Order 12564. Might be considered legal. However it's part of the posting; but we might keep it as it's substantive about conditions. The instruction says remove legal boilerplate. Not sure. Safer to keep it? Might be considered legal. I'd lean to keep it because it's a condition of employment. But the instruction says remove legal boilerplate. The drug-free workplace statement is a legal requirement. Might be considered boilerplate. I'd remove it to be safe. Also the statements about commitment to improving efficiency, passionate about ideals, etc. That's fluff; maybe remove as boilerplate? It's not exactly legal but could be considered fluff. Might be considered boilerplate. Safer to remove. We need to keep: Summary (About the role). Duties (Responsibilities). Requirements (Conditions of employment). Qualifications (Knowledge and skill...). Additional information (probation, direct deposit, E-Verify, travel card). Benefits (benefits package). Schedule (workdays, weekends, holidays, rotating shifts). Pay? maybe omit. We need to format as HTML fragment: use

    for each section heading. Use
    • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use

for prose. We need to decide what constitutes a list. The duties paragraph contains many sentences separated by semicolons. Could turn into list items. The requirements paragraph also has multiple conditions. Could list. We'll produce something like:

      Schedule

This position involves work on workdays and may involve weekends, and holidays, as well as rotating shifts.

We have duplicated schedule info also in Requirements; but we can keep schedule section separate. Might be duplicate but okay. We need to ensure no markdown fences, just raw HTML. Check for any boilerplate left: we removed EEO, legal, drug-free, commitment statements. We kept additional info about probation, direct deposit, E-Verify, travel card. Those are substantive. We should not include "Summary" heading; we used About the role. Check for any repeated lines: we have schedule sentence also in Requirements; but it's okay. We need to ensure we didn't invent or summarize away detail. We preserved all substantive info from the posting. Let's verify we captured all duties: The original duties paragraph: "Responsible for maintaining the Fitness area, including The Commons and surrounding area. Vacuum cleans rugs and draperies; shampoos rungs and up holster;Sweeps, mops, strips, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using light to heavy industrial-type equipment, adjusting and changing buffers, brushes and other attachments as needed. Police outside buildings within ten (10) feet or any areas needing cleaned. We captured each as list items. Some items combined multiple actions; we kept them as is. Qualifications: original: "Knowledge and skill sufficient to read signs, follow simple oral and written instructions. Ability to work safely while moving lightweight objects. Must be able to operate and use janitorial tools, equipment, and supplies such as floor buffers, vacuum cleaners, cleaning compounds and solutions and perform minor maintenance on this equipment". We captured. Requirements: original: "Conditions of employment Successful completion of National Agency Background (NACI) Check required.
