Custodial & Security Team Lead

About the role
This is an on-site position at our corporate office in Carthage, MO, reporting directly to the Facilities Manager. The work schedule is Monday – Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inspections of the building to assure custodial and security duties are being completed
- Manage schedule of the custodial and security staff to ensure 24 hours and 7 days coverage
- Supervise and direct custodial and security staff to accomplish the goals and mission for the corporate office
- Train security staff on protocol security binder
- Order custodial supplies and manage inventory
- Train custodial staff on cleaning techniques and products
- Track inventory usage and reconcile cost with Office Services Supervisor
- Answer L&P corporate phone line and welcome visitors
- Occasional holiday and weekend coverage may be required
Requirements
- High School/GED or equivalent vocational training, plus 2-3 years’ experience in a custodial or security role
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Ability to manage and direct individual activities
- Ability to move at a fast pace while being accurate
- Great communication skills; including phone etiquette
- Strong task management skills
- Customer focused and service-oriented attitude
- Ability to work independently, as well as with custodial/security staff and supporting facility staff
- Working knowledge of various types of commercial cleaning machines and cleaning techniques
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Excel and MS Word
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Occasional holiday and weekend coverage may be required.
