Security Team Lead

About the role

The Security Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the security operations team, ensuring compliance with all security policies and procedures, and managing incident response efforts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily security operations including monitoring alerts, responding to incidents, and coordinating with external partners.
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Manage and train the security operations team to ensure they are equipped to handle various security scenarios.
• Collaborate with other teams within the organization to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
• Lead incident response efforts, including conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, preferably in a leadership capacity.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of security professionals.
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• CISSP certification preferred.
• Experience with threat intelligence gathering and analysis.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to the industry.

Pay

$80,000 - $100,000 annually based on experience.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
