About the role
The role involves leading a team of custodians in maintaining a clean and safe environment for all occupants.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily cleaning tasks to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Manage and train the custodial team to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to address urgent cleaning needs promptly.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules to meet departmental goals.
- Ensure adherence to environmental policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a similar role.
- Proven ability to manage teams effectively and motivate employees.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Experience with cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to custodial work.
