PURPOSE

Support train and assist designated school personnel to provide customized real-time student performance data to inform the development of School Improvement Plans, teacher collaboration, and school data reports.

Provide customized real-time job embedded analysis and synthesis of student performance data in collaboration with various groups.

Use data to drive the School Improvement Plan and ensure teachers continuously improve their ability to provide instructional services to students resulting in increased student achievement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or related field and increasingly responsible educational experience including teaching, assessment, and accountability functions.
  • Prefer that the candidate holds a master’s degree and an administrator’s license.
  • Must have strong planning, management, supervisory, analytical, computer, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Must possess knowledge of methods, terminology, principles, practices, procedures, materials, requirements, processes, policies, objectives, and equipment applicable to assigned field.

Essential Functions

  • Direct the professional learning of the FWCS Assessment System; coordinate and direct professional learning to meet assessment needs and data analysis needs; use the professional learning standards to guide and plan FWCS assessment suite learning.
  • Plan, organize, and direct the professional learning activities and educational services involved in the District’s standardized and specialized testing programs related to student achievement including accountability and federal programs and accountability functions; monitor, evaluate, and adjust activities in response to FWCS assessment accountability and federal programs needs and progress.
  • Participate in the research, collection, processing, and reporting of student performance and assessment data; assist in the review, analysis, and interpretation of student test scores and performance data to determine educational effectiveness and student achievement related to FWCS and school programs operations and instructional activities.
  • Provide professional learning, technical assistance to personnel administrators and others concerning the administration, scoring, interpretation, analysis, and reporting of District assessments; respond to inquiries and provide detailed and technical information concerning related data standards, requirements, practices, techniques, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Aid in the development and implementation of FWCS program evaluation efforts; assist in coordinating FWCS strategic and planning; assist administrators with utilizing and interpreting student test scores and performance data in evaluating and improving educational effectiveness and student achievement.
  • Monitor and evaluate FWCS educational programs and services for educational effectiveness; provide technical recommendations and analysis regarding the development and implementation of programs, services, practices, policies, and procedures to enhance educational effectiveness, student achievement, and learning.
  • Compile, assemble, verify, and evaluate a variety of assessment, test, and other educational data; prepare and maintain a variety of mandated and requested records, reports, and files related to assessment tests, scores, students’ performance, Title I, Title II, IUSA, IDOE, and FWCS schools, programs, and departments.
  • Cook up and participate in the formatting, development, and printing of assessment test answer sheets; compile, assemble, sort, and package testing materials for distribution to school sites; collect, process, assemble, and package completed testing materials for shipment to scoring services in accordance with established specifications.
  • Direct and participate in the preparation and maintenance of a variety of automated data records, reports, and files related to assessment tests, results, students’ programs, evaluation projects, and assigned activities to enhance understanding of accountability and student achievement needs, issues, and progress among students, teachers, administrators, and the community.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by the Administrator to meet the particular needs of the building/unit and must demonstrate participation in and contributions to the goals of district cross-functional teams.

  • Strength and Stamina: Capability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to twenty-five (25) pounds or more.
  • Outdoor Work: Tolerance of work outside in various weather conditions.
