Curb Machine Operator
About the role
Zenith Tech Inc., part of the Walbec Group, is seeking a Curb Machine Operator for their upcoming 2024 season in Southeast Wisconsin. This position involves operating a Curb Machine along with various other construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Operate a Curb Machine and other construction equipment such as skid steers, backhoes, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, and others.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and adhere to company standards.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Travel to various job sites as needed to support ongoing projects.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
- A Class A CDL is preferred but not mandatory at hire. A Class A CDL must be obtained within a determined period, paid for by the company.
- A High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Punctuality and dependability are essential.
- Experience operating construction equipment and the ability to safely and efficiently operate a Curb Machine is desired.
- Willingness to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, weekends, and tolerate variable weather conditions and dirty/dusty environments.
- Member of a Local Operators Union, or willingness to join one.

Location
Projects will vary by location, requiring reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to any job site as needed. Projects are typically located throughout Southeast Wisconsin and west to Madison, WI.
The Candidate
Must be able to operate equipment safely and efficiently, work varied hours, and tolerate dirty and dusty environments. Be willing to labor as needed when not operating equipment.
