Curb Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate concrete curb machines according to project requirements and specifications.
• Operate curb machines to produce concrete curbs of various shapes and sizes, including straight, curved, and angled curbs.
• Maintain production output by making adjustments as needed to ensure consistent and accurate production.
• Inspect finished curbs for quality defects and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of curb machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Cover production schedules and meet project deadlines by coordinating with crew members and supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Complete production records and reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating concrete curb machines in a construction environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and repair minor equipment issues.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
