About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the museum's online presence, including social media platforms, website updates, and digital marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the museum's official website, ensuring its accuracy and accessibility.
- Create and implement digital marketing strategies to increase visitor engagement and reach.
- Analyze website traffic and social media analytics to inform future content and strategy decisions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute social media campaigns.
- Oversee the creation and publication of blog posts and other digital content.
- Monitor and respond to customer inquiries and feedback on social media platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing or a similar field.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and analytics tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
- Proficiency in social media management tools like Hootsuite or Buffer.
Qualifications
- Experience with multimedia content creation and editing.
- Knowledge of graphic design principles and ability to create engaging visual content.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
Skills
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
