Culinary Server/Dietary Aide

About the role

Kingsley Senior Living Facility in Canton, MI is looking for a Server with a passion for enriching the lives of seniors. As a Server, you will play a vital role in creating a positive dining experience for our residents, ensuring they receive excellent service and enjoy delicious meals. Your role will contribute to their overall satisfaction and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
• Plate and serve meals promptly and efficiently, presenting food in an appealing and appetizing manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and clearing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Deliver room service trays.
• Transport residents to and from the dining room.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, following health department regulations and facility policies.
• Cover breaks for staff.

Requirements

• Flexibility needed for day and evening shifts.
• Every other weekend is mandatory.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation.
• A positive attitude and the ability to arrive on time for every shift.
