Responsibilities
- Create a restaurant-style dining experience through serving meals, customer service, and collaboration.
- Follow written and oral instructions, follow diet orders/tray cards and work assignments.
- Ensure that meal orders are delivered accurately, and any special request or dietary restrictions are noted and followed.
- Perform defined work routines.
- Aid in cleaning routines after meals have ended and setting up for next meal.
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies as directed by Culinary Director.
- Attend scheduled department meetings.
- Attend educational programs.
- Follow defined safety codes while performing duties.
- Follow Infection Control procedures.
- Understand community’s fire and disaster plans; follow established procedures during drills and actual emergencies.
- Be knowledgeable of federal, state, and community’s rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in a food service or related field preferred.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of food preparation and service standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Pay
Competitive wages and shift differentials are offered based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Shifts are available in general ranging from 4, 8, and 12 hours. Full-time (30+ hours weekly) and part-time (up to 29 hours weekly) positions are available.
