Culinary/Dietary Aide - Server

Responsibilities

• Create a restaurant-style dining experience through serving meals and customer service.
• Follow written and oral instructions, diet orders/tray cards, and work assignments.
• Ensure meal orders are delivered accurately and special requests/dietary restrictions are noted and followed.
• Perform defined work routines and assist with cleaning after meals.
• Absorb and store food and supplies as directed by the Culinary Director.
• Attend department meetings and educational programs.
• Follow safety codes and infection control procedures.
• Understand and be knowledgeable of community’s fire and disaster plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
