About the role
Telefèric Barcelona is a purveyor of authentic Spanish tapas and pintxos, offering a culinary internship for young professionals. Inspired by Basque gastronomy and a passion for the kitchen, this contemporary and modern restaurant highlights innovative style and the highest quality of Spanish cuisine in the United States. The restaurant has been awarded Best Restaurant on the East Bay 2015.
The candidate will rotate within the different areas of the kitchen, supervised daily by the chef. Monthly one-to-one meetings will be conducted, and more responsibility will be given as the candidate improves.
Requirements
- Studying or graduated from a full culinary degree (12 months or longer)
- Strong passion for food and beverage (F&B)
- Fluent in English (Spanish desirable but not mandatory)
Schedule
Duration: 6 or 12 months.
