Responsible Duties

  • Prepare, plan, prep, organize the line setup and provide quality service in all areas of food production.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental and resort policies/procedures.
  • Ensure all prep work is maintained throughout shift.
  • Maintain excellent working knowledge of department menu items, ingredients and recipes.
  • Inspect the cleanliness and organization of the line and workstations; rectify any deficiencies; maintain through the shift.
  • Prep work on items needed for the particular menu of the day.
  • Organize all various prep items needed from different areas to ensure all items are in place and ready for service.
  • Maintain proper storage procedures as specified by health department and Resort requirements.
  • Disinfect and sanitize cutting boards and worktables.
  • Assist with inventories as schedules.
  • Assist in plating Banquet hot meals as assigned.
  • Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule.
  • Perform duties in other areas of kitchen as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Two year's experience in similar position
  • Culinary line or prep cook experience
  • Technical culinary abilities, proficient knife skills, progressive cook styles and abilities
  • Experience in Hospitality Industry or similar position

Pay

$18.00 - $21.00/hour
