Culinary Associate
Responsible Duties
- Prepare, plan, prep, organize the line setup and provide quality service in all areas of food production.
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental and resort policies/procedures.
- Ensure all prep work is maintained throughout shift.
- Maintain excellent working knowledge of department menu items, ingredients and recipes.
- Inspect the cleanliness and organization of the line and workstations; rectify any deficiencies; maintain through the shift.
- Prep work on items needed for the particular menu of the day.
- Organize all various prep items needed from different areas to ensure all items are in place and ready for service.
- Maintain proper storage procedures as specified by health department and Resort requirements.
- Disinfect and sanitize cutting boards and worktables.
- Assist with inventories as schedules.
- Assist in plating Banquet hot meals as assigned.
- Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule.
- Perform duties in other areas of kitchen as assigned.
Qualifications
- Two year's experience in similar position
- Culinary line or prep cook experience
- Technical culinary abilities, proficient knife skills, progressive cook styles and abilities
- Experience in Hospitality Industry or similar position
Pay
$18.00 - $21.00/hour
