About the role
The CTST/Tool Accountability Coordinator facilitates the development and implementation of Work-Based Learning programs and coordinates Career Technical Training Coordinator projects for the center. The role involves establishing and maintaining Work-Based Learning site MOUs and agreements, coordinating meetings and activities, and visiting work sites to support the program.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the development and implementation of Work-Based Learning program and coordinate Career Technical Training Coordinator projects for the center.
- Work with campus staff, employers, organized labor, and the community to establish and maintain Work-Based Learning site MOUs and agreements that meet the needs of students.
- Facilitate meetings and activities to bring together the appropriate persons, including employers, instructors, students, and center staff to ensure the success of the Work-Based Learning program.
- Serve as liaison with both the Career Technical Training and Career Transition Services departments in facilitating the coordination of the campuses Work-Based Learning program.
- Visits established work sites at least bi-monthly to cultivate work site relationships. Coordinate, periodically, guest speakers in career training classrooms to allow the vocational instructors to visit work sites and trainees as required for the success of the Work-Based Learning program. This could include Job Corps graduates, local employer partners or workforce/one-stop allies. Submits monthly WBL activity report.
- Aid in job application and interview processes, student/site evaluations, and job exiting processes.
- Develop and maintain a CTST plan that includes detailed descriptions of projects to be completed by trainees along with material lists and budgets.
- Coordinate with Career Technical Training Instructors to develop an Annual CTST Plan.
- Track and balance annual budget of allocated funds for projects.
- Work closely with CTT Instructors to schedule, manage, and monitor CTST projects to ensure deadlines are met.
- Work with Safety Coordinator to ensure all safety measures are in place and followed.
- Ensure supplies and materials are ordered in a timely manner to ensure projects progress on schedule.
- Maintain accountability of staff, students, and property.
- Communicate and model appropriate CSS and employability skills.
- Monitor all project worksites to ensure adequate progress, student instruction, student engagement, and safety.
- Foster and sustain a conducive environment at the center, ensuring it remains free from harassment, intimidation, and disrespect, thereby ensuring a safe space for both staff and students to engage in work and learning.
- Attend all required staff training opportunities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- Industry recognized credentials in construction or related field preferred.
- Two years related experience required.
- Experience working with diverse youth.
- A valid driver’s license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.
Pay
USD 70304.00 - USD 71500.00 - yearly
