About the role
As a CTSS Behavioral Health Practitioner, you will work in our CTSS (Children's Therapeutic Support Services) program. Your responsibilities include providing mental health skills to clients and/or their families, assisting in goal setting, and implementing treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Provide culturally responsive mental health skills to clients and/or their families (if working with children) in the home, community, and/or school.
- Aid clients in identifying goals for functional improvement and assist them in meeting those goals.
- Design and implement treatment/intervention in-home reflective of client needs.
- Receive clinical supervision from a qualified staff member and obtain continuing education units.
Requirements
- Meet the Behavioral Health Practitioner requirements as per MN State Statute 245I.04.04. This includes having a Master's degree or other graduate degree in a behavioral science or related field, or a Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science or related field with 2,000 hours of supervised experience in mental health services.
- Hold a Master's degree or other graduate degree in a behavioral science or related field.
- Have 4,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services to people with mental illness.
- Meet the Clinical Trainee requirements per MN State Statute 245I.04.06.
- Have completed an accredited graduate program of study to prepare the staff person for independent licensure as a mental health professional.
- Be licensed as a LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LP in Minnesota.
- Desire to work with children and families in their homes; this includes walking, stairs, and the ability to crouch, stoop, sit on floors, and stand for periods of time.
- Ability to work independently; Valid driver’s license/auto insurance/reliable vehicle; ability to drive a minimum of a 30-mile radius around primary clinic location.
- Proficient in the use of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- If interested in working with children/adolescents and families, must be able to commit to a late afternoon/early evening schedule.

Pay
This is a non-exempt position. Total earnings for this position will range from $22.00 - $23.00 hourly. Actual compensation may be determined by various factors such as licensure, experience, skillset, internal equity, schedule and/or location. Estimates are factored on a 1.0 FTE. Employees in these positions are W2.
