About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching health science courses to high school students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, tests, and projects.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to provide a comprehensive educational experience.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in health science or related field.
- Teaching certification in health science or equivalent.
- Experience in secondary education preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Pass a background check.
Skills
- Knowledge of current health science trends and research.
- Effective classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
