About the role
The successful candidate will teach Health Occupations courses at Kings Mountain High School. The position is licensed and part of the CTE program.
Responsibilities
- Teach Health Occupations courses to high school students
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning
- Participate in professional development opportunities
Requirements
- Licensed to teach in North Carolina
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience teaching Health Occupations or related field preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively
