About the role

Provides computed tomography (CT) and diagnostic imaging services, collaborating with radiologists and physicians to ensure quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and orders
• Educates patients about procedures
• Prepares and administers contrast media
• Monitors patient conditions
• Analyzes imaging results
• Performs Point of Care Testing and Electrocardiograms (EKG)
• Handles routine patient care tasks
• Ensures optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure
• Troubleshoots image issues
• Reports scan results

Requirements

• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT certification in CT
• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
• CPR/BLS certification
• Demonstrated critical thinking and decisiveness
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
