About the role
The CT/X-Ray Technologist is a clinical position responsible for performing all radiology and computerized tomography procedures in a prompt, accurate and reliable manner in accordance with applicable standards of care and practice, as well as, in accordance with White Mountain Regional Medical Center and Diagnostic Imaging Department policy and procedures. Through collaboration with all members of the health-care team, the role strives to support a patient-centered culture and gain knowledge and skills to further the practice of the quality of patient services provided at WMRMC.
Responsibilities
- Perform all radiology and computerized tomography procedures in a prompt, accurate and reliable manner in accordance with applicable standards of care and practice, as well as, in accordance with White Mountain Regional Medical Center and Diagnostic Imaging Department policy and procedures.
- Collaborate with all members of the health-care team to support a patient-centered culture.
- Gain knowledge and skills to further the practice of the quality of patient services provided at WMRMC.
- Exercise independent judgement in applying professional knowledge required to plan, prioritize and organize responsibilities in support of the clinical department.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Radiology or Applied Science
- Three (3) years’ experience in a Radiology service category
- Knowledge of ARRA/federal radiation guideline
Qualifications
- Current ARRT license in good standing and become CT registry within one (1) year of hire
- CRT-CT in good standing
- BLS within 30 days of hire
Skills
- Proficiency in radiology and computerized tomography procedures
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with oversight
