CT/X-Ray Technologist - PRN

About the role

The Multi-Modality Technologist supports the second or additional modalities on a routine basis by being available to work in the modality and providing on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups.
• Required Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Specific Course Work: Graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline.
• PREFERRED: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Necessary Skills:
  • Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices.
  • Communicates exams/procedures to patients.
  • Knowledge of computer software and ability to troubleshoot.
  • Familiarity with imaging equipment and all other patient care equipment.
  • Maintain competency in a minimum of two modalities.
• Required Licensure/Certifications:
  • Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Credentialed, certified, or licensed in a minimum of two (2) different Radiology modalities through the state, ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS.
• Required Experience: 1-2 years of Clinical Radiology Experience.
