About the role
Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an MRI Technologist to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Performs M.R.I. examinations
- Contributes to the efficient operation of the department
- Promotes the philosophy to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care
- Provides direct patient care to all ages of patients, particularly focusing on the adult patient
- May require working at either campus or access center
- The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit
- Must understand we exist for the patients and their care is the number one priority
- Excellent Communicator: Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with admin, colleagues, patients and family member
- Strong Educator: Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided
- Technical Familiarity: Understanding in computer-based applications, email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office
- Active Teamwork: Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork
Requirements
- Education: American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Must be graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Licensure: Registered American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, with MRI certification (or obtained within (1) one year of hire date), Current Connecticut License
