CT Technologist

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations following physician orders, utilizing advanced CT equipment while considering patient-specific needs.
• Apply knowledge of imaging techniques, adjustment of imaging factors, and patient treatment to produce high-quality images.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Operate sophisticated imaging equipment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Deliver patient-centered care and maintain accurate documentation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize imaging results.

Requirements

• Relevant education, licensure, and registration, including Oregon Medical Imaging License.
• Certification from recognized radiologic or nuclear medicine boards.
• Must obtain CT technologist registration within one year if not already certified.
• BLS certification is mandatory upon hire.
