About the role
As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for providing computed tomographic radiographs to patients in accordance with physicians’ orders. We are a team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition who values patient care as much as we do.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for CT exams, explain procedures, and ensure technical quality.
- Promote individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education.
- Possess knowledge of medical terminology sufficient to work accurately within the Imaging Department.
- Work as a team player to meet the needs of the Imaging Department.
Requirements
- Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSRT degree in Radiologic Technology is required.
- Current licensure by the Texas Department of Health as an MRT/TMB license is required.
- Current registration with ARRT(R)(CT) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) is required.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification is required.
