CT Technologist (Part-Time, Variable Shift)
Lying just inland between the State's coastal mountain ranges and the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Adventist Health Reedley has been serving the Central Valley since 2011. We are comprised of a 49-bed acute care hospital and 60 clinics in 27 rural communities with primary and specialty care services. About the role
Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
Responsibilities
- Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
- Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
- Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.
- Maintains accurate records, files and billing information.
- Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.
- Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) (required)
- Radiologic Tech (RT) license in the state of practice (required in CA)
- Advanced Certification in the modality of CT (required in OR and HI, preferred in CA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy (required)
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment (required in CA, if employee operates fluoroscopy equipment)
- Venipuncture certification (required in CA, if employees perform venipuncture to administer contrast materials)

Pay
The estimated base pay for this position is $45.39 to $62.26 per hour. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc.
