Join the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute and become part of one of the world's most respected healthcare organizations. We are expanding with a new, one-million-square-foot, 15-floor, state-of-the-art facility on Cleveland Clinic Main Campus designed to elevate care for complex neurological conditions — including spine injuries, epileptic seizures, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis and stroke. In addition to working in the new Neurological Institute, you will have opportunities to provide care across Cleveland Clinic Main Campus in areas such as Cardiac, Digestive Disease, Medical-Surgical and more. You will join a close-knit, hardworking and supportive team that values collaboration and consistently high-quality patient care.

Schedule

Full-time, third shift (nights) from 8:30pm–7am, Tuesday – Friday. No weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire patients chart data/requisition and review both to determine correct room set-up and learn of any specific medical problems and contraindications to the study.
  • Verify the study ordered correlates to the diagnostic needs.
  • Educate patients regarding procedure, equipment and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • Maintain all aspects of the CT area, including the technical and clerical components, to ensure proper quality assurance results and any required documentation.

Minimum qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited institution per the primary pathway of the ARRT
  • Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT) in good standing
  • Obtain certification in Computed Tomography (CT) Certification [R.T.(R) (CT) (ARRT) within one year of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross certification
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes

Preferred qualifications

  • One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist or experience in other imaging modalities

Physical requirements

  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.
  • Requires frequent pushing and pulling of equipment up to 75 pounds.

Pay

Minimum hourly: $29.00  |  Maximum hourly: $44.50
