About the role
Baptist Health is offering a 4-month Computed Tomography (CT) Internship at various Baptist Health locations. This full-time, paid training program is designed for those who are ready to take the next step toward becoming a certified CT Technologist. As a CT technologist intern, you will gain hands-on experience in CT imaging under the direct supervision of registered technologists, assist with patient transports, patient screenings, and record management. Progression to performing diagnostic CT exams as training advances and completing clinical procedures required for the ARRT CT registry is to be expected.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved School of Radiology
- BLS certification
- Meet ARRT ethics and education standards
- CRT licensure
- Commitment to sit for the ARRT CT exam after program completion
Positions designated as requiring a level II Background (a detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
