Baptist Health is looking to add an MRI Intern in our Baptist Health Clinical School Department at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. The MRI Intern will work alongside the MRI technical staff while completing the training and clinical requirements necessary to become a registered MRI Technologist. This is a full-time opportunity. Upon successful completion of the internship, the Intern may be offered a full-time, part-time, or PRN position. Call and holiday availability is required. This MRI Intern must be a graduate of an AMA (American Medical Association) approved School of Radiology and have a supporting category prerequisite approved by the ARRT. Candidates must already hold applicable credentials in Radiology, Sonography, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Mammography, or MRI. As An MRI Intern, You Will Be Responsible For Assisting the MRI technical staff by transporting patients, screening patients, and obtaining patient records.As training progresses, assuming a more hands-on technical role by performing diagnostic exams on patients under the direct supervision of a registered technical professional.Complying with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Standards of Ethics.Completing an online modality education program approved by the ARRT.Performing and documenting all required clinical procedures.Remaining compliant with all mandatory education and health requirements.Registering for and sitting for the ARRT modality-specific certification exam within the agreed-upon timeframe outlined by the training program.
