The MRI Intern position is located in the Baptist Health Clinical School Department at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. The intern will work alongside MRI technical staff while completing the training and clinical requirements needed to become a registered MRI Technologist. This is a full‑time opportunity; upon successful completion, the intern may be offered a full‑time, part‑time, or PRN position.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the MRI technical staff by transporting patients, screening patients, and obtaining patient records.
- As training progresses, assuming a more hands‑on technical role by performing diagnostic exams on patients under the direct supervision of a registered technical professional.
- Complying with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Standards of Ethics.
