CT Technologist I- Day Shift 10:30-21:00

About the role

The CT tech utilizes all CT resources to perform high quality CT examinations on entire patient population (neonate through geriatrics) for interpretation by a physician.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes all CT resources to perform high quality CT examinations on entire patient population (neonate through geriatrics).
• Performs special imaging with little supervision.
• Functions effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiar with age specific criteria.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology and one year of radiologic experience.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Computed Tomography, and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.
• Able to produce very high-quality special imaging with little supervision.
• Able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiar with age specific criteria.

Qualifications

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Computed Tomography, and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
• Maintains and renews ARRT, state license, BLS, PPD, respirator fit test, and POC training.
