CT Technologist / Days

About the Role

Performs routine and interventional CT procedures to support accurate diagnosis and patient care in a community-focused hospital environment. Collaborates with physicians and healthcare staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Execute CT procedures following professional standards and protocols
• Prepare and administer oral contrast agents as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Work with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure optimal imaging services
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and departmental quality initiatives

Requirements

• Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology training program
• New York State Radiologic Technologist License
• ARRT Certification in CT
• NY State Department of Health Injection Privileges

Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of CT imaging
• Familiarity with PACS, RIS, EMR systems
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
